In today’s toolbox class, I brainstormed what kind of product I would create based on my customer profile which I made in the previous class, and made a small doodle on how to develop my design next to it.
As I said last time, my customer had a solid style his wanted, so it was not difficult to figure out how to design-in. But the question was how to put the details into my whole outfits design. Based on the needs of the customer, I decided to design the training set, but I thought that the design details might be a little inferior compared to other friends, because the outfit can be looks like a simple. Also, considering the overall outfit, I thought it might be boring, so I thought I should combine more colorful color lines and graphic parts. Clearly, the process of expressing and organizing ideas through brainstorming seems to be a necessary process to create a better design rather than directly entering the design. Also, when I think about the past lessons, it seems to give a big outline of how to choose a good design from this toolbox project, so it seems to suggest a very good direction when designing, not only now but also in the future. Because the customer profile was well created, it seems that the given assignment was completed without much thought or blockage in this class. And compared to the beginning, the words I can understand right away in class have increased. I think the class I took today will be the most important thing for me when designing in the future. I will remember the tasks and methods I did today and use them well in the future.
